Keemun Hong Mao Feng is known as the "noble of black teas" and is one of the world's top three high-aroma black teas. In spring 2025, we handpicked only the first leaves and buds of the Keemun Chuyezhong variety grown at elevations of 300–600 m in Qimen County. This cultivar is rich in geraniol and linalool precursors. After 6 hours of indoor natural withering, light rolling, and controlled-temperature fermentation at 28°C for 85 minutes, the tea is fully dried over medium heat to a moisture content of ≤4.2%. GC-MS testing shows linalool at 1.36 mg/g and phenylethyl alcohol at 0.52 mg/g, creating the signature "Keemun Aroma"—a layered profile of rose, honey, and subtle fruity notes. With 22.4% tea polyphenols and 3.9% amino acids (phenol-ammonia ratio of 5.7), it ensures a fresh, mellow, sweet, and smooth liquor that remains non-astringent even after multiple infusions. The tea contains 1.14% theaflavins and 10.2% thearubigins (compliant with GB/T 30483), yielding a bright red and luminous liquor with a prominent golden ring. Caffeine content is 30 mg per 200 ml, providing gentle stimulation. Water extractives reach 46%, allowing 8–9 steepings while maintaining sweetness and aroma. Packaged in double-layer sealed aluminum bags and tin cans, the tea retains its fragrance for up to 24 months when stored at room temperature away from light. Tested by SGS with zero pesticide residues detected across 500 items, and full traceability under SC certification.
