"Golden Rose" is a high-aroma new cultivar (No. 204) selected by Fujian Tea Research Institute through hybridization of Tieguanyin and Huang Dan. It is planted in the red sandstone soil of Xingzhen Town, Wuyi Mountains, at an altitude of 900-1100 m, where the temperature difference between day and night exceeds 10°C, which is conducive to the accumulation of floral aroma precursor substances. GC-MS detection shows linalool at 1.45 mg/g and benzyl acetate at 0.62 mg/g, forming a natural rose aroma. The premium tea is hand-picked as one bud with one leaf per shoot, with 21.8% polyphenols, 4.2% amino acids, and a polyphenol-to-amino-acid ratio of 5.2, establishing the core taste profile of fresh, mellow, sweetish, non-bitter and non-astringent. Light withering and light rolling, followed by fermentation at 28°C for 85 minutes then gently fully dried, achieving moisture content ≤4.4%, effectively preserving the rose aroma, ripe fruit honey fragrance, and subtle milky sweetness. The brewed tea liquor is bright orange-red, containing 1.12% theaflavins and 10.2% thearubigins (GB/T 30483), with a distinct golden rim; caffeine content is 26 mg/200 ml, providing gentle stimulation; 46% water extractives, maintaining flavor through 9-10 infusions. Double sealed in aluminum foil bag plus tin can, maintaining stable aroma for up to 24 months under normal temperature and light protection.
